From PRODEM workwear manufacturing to Central Europe – Zsolt Keresztes

Zsolt Keresztes joined Lindström in 2021 as Managing Director of PRODEM Hungary. Since then, he has taken on increasingly broad responsibilities. Today, he is responsible for service operations, procurement and sustainability performance across Lindström’s Central Europe region. We spoke to him about his career journey, his approach to leadership and the value of achieving results together.

Circular business model and people-centred culture

I joined Lindström because I wanted to work for an international company where business performance, responsibility for people and sustainable operations are closely connected. I was impressed by the company’s long-term thinking, circular business model and people-centred culture.

Since joining Lindström in 2021, I’ve had the opportunity to continue developing within the company and take on increasingly broad responsibilities.

Business results depend on trust and collaboration

I have grown considerably at Lindström, both professionally and as a leader. I have learned that lasting business results require more than a sound strategy and consistent execution. They also depend on trust, collaboration and supporting people in their development.

As a leader, I make a conscious effort to listen to different perspectives, provide clear direction and give others the space to take initiative and assume responsibility. The principles that matter most to me are respect, openness, continuous learning and achieving results together.

What I value most is that people at Lindström care about each other, our customers and the future of the company. They are open to collaboration, willing to share their experience and can be relied on even in challenging situations. This combination of a people-centred and results-focused mindset is what makes the Lindström community truly special.

I spend most of my free time with my family. I enjoy travelling, discovering new places and cultures and continuing to learn. I’m also a fan of technical and home improvement projects, especially the planning involved and finding practical solutions.

Learning opportunities in every challenge

I would encourage new colleagues to stay curious, ask questions and confidently share their ideas. At Lindström, there is a great deal to learn from colleagues working in different countries, functions and roles.

Take ownership, show initiative and look for opportunities to learn in every challenge. When we care about each other, stay open to new solutions and support one another’s development, we build both our own careers and Lindström’s future.
