In conversation with Maxim Caciur

Maxim Caciur joined Lindström in 2021 as an Account Payable Specialist. Since then, he has risen from the role of a Senior Specialist to a Country Controller and is now working as a group-level Assistant Controller.

Maxim is part of the group reporting team, where he is responsible for management reporting and ensuring all the data is correct and the process works smoothly. “At Lindström, there is some hierarchy, but in general, Lindström operates as a fairly linear corporation,” Maxim says with satisfaction.

“The working environment has been made to benefit everybody”

The company has an incredibly chill atmosphere where people can easily talk to the CEO, CFO, or any other members of higher management. Maxim reflects with a smile, saying it never feels like someone is superior to others in the company, regardless of their position or rank.

While the hierarchy is clear, Lindström allows people to focus on their work and feel at ease, without worrying about whom they can approach with questions or concerns. He truly appreciates the support from others, which helps him do his work properly and efficiently, and vice versa.

New Beginnings

Maxim’s start at Lindström was incredibly smooth. Although he didn’t know much about the company beforehand, he quickly realized its global reach. Seeing Lindström’s logo everywhere on public premises brought him pride. He describes the onboarding process as quite smooth and not stressful, thanks to the wonderful support and warm welcomes within the team and the company. Although a lot of information came at once, he gradually got the hang of his role and integrated into the team.

“Structure and Freedom Define My Workdays”

Maxim Caciur shares that while he has structure and routine in his work, he also enjoys a lot of freedom to design his workdays and handle tasks his way. Lindström has cultivated an open, friendly, and supportive working environment. “People are able to discuss work as well as personal matters,” Maxim says fondly. When it comes to his career growth, Maxim highlights the importance of showing initiative outside his basic tasks, such as bringing up different development ideas for diverse matters. Managers are supportive and encouraging, pushing you towards growth when they see your potential.

Work-life Balance

Maxim praises Lindström’s approach to work-life balance. Some weeks are busier with longer working hours, but to balance it out, employees can have shorter days and take days off here and there. The system is designed to benefit both employees and the company. Managers encourage their employees to keep track of their hours and find a balance between work and personal life.

“Ambition and professional growth are more than possible with the right attitude”

Maxim notes that Lindström is a place where ambition and professional growth are nurtured. Especially in finance, if you are curious, show initiative, and stay active, managers appreciate it and offer more opportunities for growth, both within your department and beyond. The company’s idea is to have happy employees and employers. That way, the working environment and the work that needs to be done will be done in the best way possible.
