Lindström’s Sustainability report 2025 published
We have published our latest Sustainability report 2025, presenting the policies, actions and progress across environmental, social, and governance areas.
The 2025 report is our first prepared using the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) as the reference framework. This has introduced renewed structure and content, strengthening the transparency and comparability of our sustainability information. The report has been assured by an independent third party, EY.
In addition to the full report, Lindström has also published the Sustainability at Lindström 2025 brochure. It offers an easy-to-digest overview of the company’s sustainability work and key figures.
Highlights from our Sustainability report 2025
- Climate action progressing: Total greenhouse gas emissions decreased by 6%. Delivery emissions reduced by 22% through route optimisation and increased use of renewable fuels and electric vehicles.
- Shift to cleaner energy: 82% of electricity that we used was zero-carbon. The share of renewable electricity increased significantly, reducing Scope 2 emissions by nearly half.
- Circular economy in action: We recycled 66% of our textile waste , and repaired 2.9 million textile items to extend their lifecycle.
- Water efficiency improved in high-stress areas: Water efficiency in laundries located in high or extremely high water-stress areas improved by 8.3%. This was driven by water purification and reuse processes.
- Supplier engagement strengthened: 41 key suppliers committed to emissions reductions through the Sustainability Champions Together programme.
- Customer experience improved: Net Promoter Score increased by 21% to 37.1, with customer satisfaction remaining high at 4.3/5.0.
We also published our climate transition plan that outlines our target to halve greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 from the 2021 base year.
