Workwear Sizes
Don’t know what size workwear to choose? Find out how to correctly measure your chest, waist, hips and leg length and choose the right size using Lindström’s size charts.

Well-fitting workwear is not just a matter of comfort. The right size increases work safety, allows for freedom of movement and extends the life of the garment. Workwear that is too tight restricts movement, while workwear that is too loose can pose a safety risk, especially in manufacturing or when working with machinery.
On this page we will show you how to measure yourself correctly and how to choose the right size of workwear based on the measurements.
Measure yourself standing up, relaxed and without too much clothing. To measure, you only need:
How to correctly measure individual body parts

1. Chest circumference
Measure horizontally across the widest part of your chest. The tape measure should be placed close to the body, but not constricting.
2. Waist circumference
Measure your waist horizontally, slightly below your natural waistline.
3. Hip circumference
Measure across the widest part of your hips.
Stand straight with your feet together.
4. Leg length
The length is measured from the crotch to the floor without shoes. This measurement is especially important for work trousers and overalls.

How to choose the right size
After measuring, compare your measurements with the size chart. If your measurements fall between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size. Our size charts also give the same recommendation. If the leg length is approximately 4 cm longer or shorter than the chart, contact customer service to help you choose the right solution. Or submit a request for workwear adjustments via the eLindström customer portal .

We always recommend basing your choice on the largest measured dimension. Freedom of movement is particularly important for workwear.
Trousers should cover the ankle when walking, but should not bunch up under the foot.
Please contact customer service or use eLindström to submit a request for sizing your workwear. We will help you choose the right size or suggest another solution based on the specific workwear collection.
If your figure has changed (for example, after significant weight loss or gain), we recommend measuring yourself again.
