Shortlisted for IOSH Awards 2026 Positive Workplace Award
Recognised for progress in safety culture, employee wellbeing and building a more supportive workplace across Lindström UK

Lindström UK is proud to have been shortlisted for the IOSH Awards 2026 Positive Workplace Award, recognising the work taking place across the business to build a safer, more supportive and people-focused workplace.
This recognition reflects a clear shift in how health, safety and wellbeing are led across Lindström UK. Through our We Care culture, the focus has moved beyond compliance, creating an environment where colleagues feel supported, listened to and able to speak up.
Key achievements behind the shortlist
Some of the key improvements highlighted in the award submission include:

A more practical approach to safety
Over the past two years, Lindström UK has focused on making safety more practical, relevant and engaging.
This has included introducing leadership safety walks based on conversation rather than inspection, supporting managers through Health & Safety Leadership Excellence, and reshaping toolbox talks so they focus on real tasks, real risks and clear actions.
For employees, this has helped make safety feel more connected to everyday work, rather than something separate or purely procedural.
Safety is no longer something that just has to be done for compliance. It has become something we genuinely believe in and actively contribute to every day. Managers are far more present and approachable, and when issues are raised, they are taken seriously. That makes a huge difference because it shows that our input actually matters.
Courtney Juggins, Internal Account Representative

A key part of the journey has also been creating a no-blame culture where people feel comfortable raising concerns, reporting near misses and contributing to improvements in how work is done safely.
This leadership approach has transformed how I connect with and lead my team. The focus has moved from instruction to conversation, helping people feel comfortable speaking openly, sharing ideas and contributing to how we work safely. There is now a stronger sense of shared responsibility, and the team is more engaged, proactive and committed to continuous improvement.

Continuing to build a positive workplace
Being shortlisted is a positive moment for everyone involved across Lindström UK. It recognises the work being done not only to improve safety performance, but to create a workplace where people feel valued, included and able to make a difference.
While the shortlist focuses on Lindström UK as an employer, it also reflects the same care-led approach the business brings to customers through safe and hygienic workwear solutions, managed textile services and a wider strategy to be a trusted forerunner in circular textile services.
The IOSH Awards Dinner will take place on Thursday 24 September 2026, where the winners will be announced.
Lindström UK would like to thank everyone who has helped build a culture where care, wellbeing and safety are part of everyday working life.
