Workwear Rental FAQ
Why is Lindström different to other workwear suppliers?
Lindstrom offer flexibility, traceability, and transparency. Flexibility comes by allowing you to return garments that are no longer required and stop paying for them. Traceability comes using our RFID chipping and eLindstrom which allows you to track where garments are and reports are available on eLindstrom
How can you improve our sustainability and reduce our carbon footprint?
We recycle your garments at the end of their lifecycle, we work on a circular economy business model and by 2025 we will be recycling 100% of our textiles. We also own our own manufacturing plants which means that we can manage the supply chain and ensure that the correct amount of textiles are produced to avoid waste. The wash process at our state-of-the-art laundries also reduces the amount of water and detergents that we use and reduces any waste. You can use our sustainability calculator to see how much we can reduce your carbon footprint.
Where in the UK are you based?
We are based in Bedford, Manchester, Bradford, Northampton, East Kilbride and Nailsworth.
Our head office is in Helsinki, Finland.
What is the time frame to complete repairs?
Repairs are carried out weekly and returned on next delivery.
Are lockers included in the pricing?
Yes, if required (we do not have additional charges)
Are invoices raised in arears or in advance?
We invoice 28 days in arrears.

Do you have an online portal to manage our service?
Yes, eLindstrom online portal give you access to all reports and allows you to simply manage any requests online.
What length of contract do you offer?
We offer bespoke contracts to suit your requirements from 12 months rolling to 5 years.
What are your lead times on new workwear?
Within 10 working days.
What happens if someone leaves the business?
Simply return the garments and they are removed from your invoicing immediately.
What happens if an employees require a size exchange?
We will issue the new sized garments, return the spares and they are removed from your invoicing immediately.
Are employees measured for their garments?
Yes, all employees are individually fitted.
Do you have additional charges for environmental fee, service fee etc?
No we do not have additional charges
Can our workwear go missing?
No, all garments are fitted with RFID chip’s so that we can track them and you can view this on the online portal
Will we have a dedicated Account Manager?
Yes, all of our customers are allocated an Account Manager
Do you recycle garments?
Yes, by 2025 we will recycle 100% of our textiles.
Can you help reduce our carbon footprint?
Yes, we recycle all of our customers textiles, there is also a sustainability calculator on eLindstrom online portal which will tell you how much you have reduced it by.
Industrial Wipers FAQ
How frequent is the service?
This is tailored to your requirements between 2 weekly and 8 weekly.
Do the wipers have swarf in them?
No, through the wash process the wipers go through a metal detection to eliminate swarf.
Can you reduce our waste costs?
Yes, we will remove this waste cost for you. A site survey will be carried out and we will be able to demonstrate how much you will save.
