“A fresh start that turned into a career move”: Courtney Juggins’ Lindström story
Courtney joined Lindström at a time of real uncertainty. After being made redundant with just a week’s notice, she leaned on her network and took a chance on a role she had heard about through an old friend already working at the company.
She started in January 2023 in the Telemarketing team, based in Rubery, Birmingham.
The work was fast paced and structured: calling through allocated postcodes, booking appointments, and generating leads for Fast Track Sales teams.
Courtney enjoyed the teamwork and the energy, and it quickly helped her understand the business and how the teams worked together.

Finding the right fit, quickly
Within the first month, she also realised she was ready for a role with a broader scope, where she could use more of her strengths while staying within a company that made her feel genuinely supported.
When she heard about a new Internal Account Representative position, she hesitated. She was still new, and it would be a bold move so early on.
“I thought, why not go for it. Even if it didn’t work out, I’d still be part of Lindström and I’d have shown what I was capable of.”
Stepping into a brand new role
The Internal Account Representative role was completely new to the UK business, which made the opportunity even more exciting, and a little daunting.
The interview process pushed her to show both confidence and potential: a face to face interview and a presentation on what she knew about Lindström and what she could bring to the role. When she was offered the role, the next change came quickly. About a week later, it was decided the position would be based in Bedford rather than Birmingham.
Lindström gave the team the option to relocate, and supported the move with practical help, including time off to get everything in place.
Courtney relocated on at end of June 2023, making a big life change at a young age.

Learning the business from the inside out
Before stepping fully into the role, Courtney’s training took her across the operation. She went to Manchester to learn how routes work with drivers, spent time in the laundry understanding the process end to end, and visited the Bradford site to see a modern, state of the art facility.
She also learned the sales and account management side alongside colleagues in Manchester, building a strong foundation beyond the day to day of her role.
Growing in confidence and building real relationships
Professionally, Courtney has grown into a role that rewards initiative, curiosity, and resilience. Personally, she’s learned not to be so hard on herself, to trust what she knows, and to think outside the box, especially because the role itself was new.
Her approach with customers is straightforward and human. She focuses on honesty, openness, and making sure customers get what they are paying for.
“I keep it simple and human with customers: honest, transparent, open, and focused on making sure they get exactly what they’re paying for.”
Life beyond work, and a message to new starters
Outside of work, Courtney is creative and hands on, from jewellery making and crafts to Lego builds and diamond painting.

Her advice to anyone new is simple: take the risk if you believe you can do it. The support is there, the learning opportunities are real, and if you ask to develop, there’s a clear path to grow.
In Summary
Courtney’s story shows what’s possible at Lindström when you bring curiosity, resilience, and the confidence to put your hand up for the next step
From joining the business at a difficult moment to building a new role and relocating for an opportunity, she’s grown quickly with support from colleagues and a culture that invests in people who want to learn.
