Working together for a cause that matters
Some days remind us how powerful small actions can be. This week, our team at Lindström joined our customer, Cummins, at their Daventry site for Wear It Pink, a fundraising event in support of Breast Cancer Now.
The day was filled with genuine warmth and purpose as employees came together to raise awareness and funds for those affected by breast cancer. From homemade bakes to creative raffle prizes, everyone involved contributed their time and effort to support the cause.
Supporting awareness through action and education
To help make the day even more impactful, Lindström donated £200 worth of vouchers to the event raffle, including one £100 voucher, one £50 voucher, and two £25 vouchers. All funds raised will go towards Breast Cancer Now’s vital work in supporting people living with breast cancer and funding life-changing research.
Throughout the day, we learned more about the impact of breast cancer, which affects 1 in 7 women in the UK. The sessions encouraged everyone to take proactive steps by learning how to check themselves, or their partners, for early signs of breast cancer. We also heard inspiring stories of recovery and resilience that reminded us of the importance of awareness, support, and hope.

We were joined by the incredible local support group, Breast Friends, who offered guidance, shared experiences, and lent a listening ear to anyone wanting to learn more about the help available.
Building connections that go beyond business
Our skilled Account Manager Kerry Alebon and Marketing Coordinator Pav Panesar attended the event, joining in the activities and connecting with the Cummins team to show support for the cause. It was an opportunity to take part in something that truly matters.
