Lindström Celebrates the Reopening of Refurbished Bedford Office
We’re excited to announce the re-opening of our newly refurbished Bedford office! With brighter, cleaner spaces, new seating areas, and upgraded break room facilities, the office is now more modern and flexible for our teams.
At Lindström, we are always striving to create a workspace that fosters collaboration, innovation, and employee well-being. We’re thrilled to announce that the refurbishment of our Bedford office is now complete, transforming it into a more modern, open, and inclusive environment.
This project has enhanced not only the aesthetics of the office but also the functionality, giving our teams more room to collaborate, work in privacy, and enjoy improved break room facilities.
A Brighter, Cleaner, and More Inclusive Workspace
The refurbishment of our Bedford office was all about creating a space that truly meets the evolving needs of our teams. We’ve transformed the office into a brighter, cleaner environment with more room to work, collaborate, and recharge.
The enhanced seating areas and additional working spaces provide greater flexibility, while the revamped canteen and break room now offer the perfect spots to grab a coffee, enjoy lunch, or take a well-deserved break in comfort.
We’ve also introduced two flexible pods designed for meetings, focused work, or when you need a bit of soundproofing for those important, confidential conversations. These new features make our office more adaptable, functional, and welcoming for everyone.
Acknowledging Our Team
Undertaking such a significant refurbishment while keeping our operations running smoothly has been no easy feat. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported this project and helped minimise disruption.
A few standout individuals deserve special recognition:
- Pete New – Our Project Manager and technical lead, whose expertise and dedication guided the project from start to finish.
- Violeta and the Production Team – Despite the ongoing construction, the entire Bedford production team ensured that our service continued without interruption.
- Michael Palmer – For his efforts in coordinating the transportation of goods between depots during the refurb.
- Customer Service Team – They relocated to ensure continuous service for our customers while the office was out of action.
- Ian Copeland and Ian Muir – As project sponsors, their support made this refurbishment a reality.
- The Entire UK Business – For their cooperation and support during the relocation of office facilities and any disruption caused by the project.
The Next Step: Manchester Office Refurbishment
With the success of the Bedford office refurbishment, we’re excited to announce that similar work will soon commence at our Manchester office.
In the coming weeks, we’ll begin upgrading those facilities with the same focus on creating a modern and functional workspace for our teams.
Additionally, we’re also considering upgrades to some of our other sites across the UK to ensure a cohesive working environment nationwide.
A Message from Ian Muir, Managing Director
I’m delighted to see the completion of this brilliant project. We have created an inspiring workplace where all our team members can shine! Faster problem solving, more effective team work and improved communication are some of the serious returns. But let’s not forget that an inspiring workplace will foster joy and the enthusiasm of learning.
So, many thanks to Peter New for managing the project, Lindstrom senior management for providing the money and everyone who showed flexibility and patience over the summer.
Ian Muir, Managing Director, Lindström UK
