Bringing greater transparency to emissions data in our online portal

Our customers can now monitor the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions of their Lindström service via the eLindström online portal.

“This new feature provides a reliable estimate of emissions, helping customers with sustainability reporting,” says Angad Roy , sustainability specialist responsible for greenhouse gas calculations at Lindström.

Our GHG calculations follow the GHG Protocol guidelines , ensuring accuracy and consistency. In addition, our annual emissions data is audited by an independent third party as part of our sustainability reporting process.

We use the emissions intensity metric, which measures greenhouse gas emissions relative to traffic. The annual emissions attributed to each company are based on the total amount invoiced during the year.

We are reducing. We reuse. We recycle.

By repairing and reusing, we avoid the unnecessary production of millions of kilograms of textiles.

To align with corporate sustainability goals, clients can see emissions divided into different categories and volumes. We update and improve this data annually as part of our reporting process. “While these calculations are not full life cycle assessments, they do offer a clear overview of the emissions from our services,” explains Roy.

The new feature improves transparency as we work to halve greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 and reach net zero emissions by 2050. “We continue to improve data accuracy to better support our clients’ sustainability reporting and environmental impact assessments,” adds Roy.
