EcoVadis is the leading sustainability ratings provider that offers a common sustainability platform with a universal scorecard and benchmarks. The rating covers environmental, labour & human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement themes. EcoVadis is used by many of our customers meaning they can now easily see and measure our sustainability performance in a standardised and familiar way.
In May 2022, Lindström was awarded silver however since has improved in three themes: Environment, Labour & Human rights, and Ethics. This has resulted in the Lindström Group now being awarded a gold certificate in their business sustainability rating.
Top 2% Of Companies
With this recognition, Lindström is in the top 2% of companies rated by EcoVadis in the Washing and (dry-) cleaning of the textile and fur products industry. Furthermore, Lindström is in the top 5% of all the +100 000 evaluated companies. Their overall sustainability performance is on an advanced level. Three out of four themes are on level “good”, and the environment has now been described as “outstanding” scoring 90/100 points.
The biggest improvements made since the previous assessment round are:
- becoming a signatory member of UN Global Compact Initiative
- reporting to CDP (Climate Change questionnaire related to Science-Based Targets)
- having a group-wide ISO 45001 certificate in Occupational Health & Safety
- improving documentation related to Ethics Labour & Human rights
