Tuesday, September 6, Chennai: Lindström India, a 100% subsidiary of the Finnish Lindström  Oy,  India’s only organized workwear service company has just expanded the workwear service unit in Chennai to serve the growing demand of the services in South India coming from Electronics Industry, Food Industry, Pharmaceuticals, healthcare & automobiles industry.

It’s been commendable the way India market is shaping up for Lindstrom Oy. Chennai has been a strategic choice for us. In accordance with our strategy, we want to be located close to our customers and serve them in the markets where they operate. The state of art business unit in Chennai not only increases capacity by 100 % but is designed to support Lindstrom’s Sustainability Goals to be Carbon Neutral by 2035 and ensuring best utilisation of natural resources by installing 100% water recycling plants. The unit is Chennai is expected to employ about 100 employees.
