Purchasing Manager
We are one of Europe’s leading textile service companies with more than 175 years of experience in the textile industry. We offer a wide range of textile services ranging from workwear, protective equipment, mats, restaurant and hotel textiles to industrial mats and towels.
We are looking for a Purchasing Manager to strengthen our Team!
What you’ll do in this position
– Plan, supervise and coordinate personnel and processes within the operations area of Procurement and Supply Chain
– Implementing procurement strategy in the country
– Manages the day-to-day operations of the team. Supporting the buyers with instructions and guidelines when needed = functional competence development
– Assist in the development of efficient business practices to be implemented by Procurement
– Monitors the team’s activities to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and provides support for both internal and external customers

– Cost budgeting, planning and cost control
– Tendering and purchasing the local services: communication, energy, vehicle leasing, IT equipment
– Following up of prices, quality and delivery times
– Weekly, monthly and long term supply planning
– Managing inventory– lifecycle management
– Approving new suppliers, supplier performance management including claim handling, supplier audits and evaluations
– Managing IT equipment purchasing and assets
– Managing company car fleet
What we are expecting:
– Procurement and Supply Chain professional, with his/her “heart and mind” fully engaged in procurement business
– Strong analyzing and negotiation skills
– Project management skills and experience
– Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Hungarian
– Ability to create strategic relationships with suppliers and internal customers
– IT proficiency, e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, various databases
– BSc or MSc in Engineering & Management or Economics
– Leadership experience is an advantage
