What Is the EcoVadis Platinum Medal and Why It Matters <\/h2>

We are delighted to share that we have achieved the prestigious EcoVadis Platinum Medal, recognising our commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices. This places us among the top 1% of more than 130,000 companies assessed by\u00a0EcoVadis,<\/a>\u00a0one of the world\u2019s most trusted providers of sustainability ratings.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The EcoVadis assessment evaluates 21 sustainability criteria across four core themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. It serves as a valuable tool for assessing sustainability performance, both within organisations and across supply chains. By offering actionable insights, EcoVadis supports companies driving improvements in their own operations and throughout their value chain.<\/p>\n

In our most recent rating, completed in December 2024, we achieved an overall score of 83\/100, maintaining our outstanding environmental score of 90\/100. Notable progress was made across other areas, with scores of 80\/100 in Labour and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis achievement is the result of a collective effort,\u201d shares\u00a0Inari Laveri<\/strong>, our Climate and Compliance Manager who is responsible for the EcoVadis assessment at Lindstr\u00f6m. \u201cOur project team has worked tirelessly to enhance our policies, practices, and reporting, while our employees have actively participated in training sessions. The feedback from EcoVadis during the past few years has been invaluable, helping us identify areas for improvement and shape effective development plans.\u201d<\/p>\n

This year, our\u00a0n<\/a>ew HR management system<\/a>\u00a0delivered enhanced insights and improved reporting capabilities. It provided detailed data on employee training hours, and sessions focused on specific themes, reflecting our strong commitment to learning and development. For instance, 92% of employees completed\u00a0Code of Conduct<\/a>\u00a0training in 2024, and over 10,000 hours were dedicated to\u00a0Health and Safety training<\/a>\u00a0during the reporting period. Additionally, we introduced several key policies, including the Human Rights Policy, which underscores our dedication to fair labour practices and respect for human rights.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis certification applies to the entire Lindstr\u00f6m Group, not just individual subsidiaries or countries,\u201d notes Laveri. \u201cOur commitments, practices, and policies are implemented group-wide, and we report on our progress at the group level.\u201d<\/p>\n
