Kierr\u00e4tetyst\u00e4 hampusta tehty Ioncell-neulos kesti hankausta kaksi kertaa kauemmin kuin hamppukangas.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ioncell on Aalto-yliopiston kehitt\u00e4m\u00e4 menetelm\u00e4, jolla voidaan valmistaa laadukasta tekstiilikuitua puusta tai kierr\u00e4tysmateriaaleista, kuten kierr\u00e4tyspaperista ja -pahvista tai tekstiilij\u00e4tteest\u00e4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kierr\u00e4tysraaka-aineesta ei ole pulaa, sill\u00e4 yksin Suomessa kulutetaan tekstiilej\u00e4 noin 70&nbsp;000 tonnia vuodessa. T\u00e4h\u00e4n asti suurin osa siit\u00e4 on p\u00e4\u00e4tynyt energiaj\u00e4tteeksi, mutta tutkijat ja yritykset kehitt\u00e4v\u00e4t vauhdilla parempia tapoja arvokkaan raaka-aineen hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4miseen muun muassa Aalto-yliopiston vet\u00e4m\u00e4ss\u00e4 Finix-hankkeessa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yksi Finixiss\u00e4 mukana olevista yrityksist\u00e4 on Lindstr\u00f6m, jonka <a href=\"https:\/\/lindstromgroup.com\/fi\/wc-tilapalvelu\/kasipyyheannostelijat-ja-kasipyyherullat\/\">puuvillaisiin rullapyyhkeisii<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/lindstromgroup.com\/fi\/palvelut\/wc-tilapalvelu\/kasipyyheannostelijat-ja-kasipyyherullat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">n<\/a> jokainen suomalainen lienee kuivannut k\u00e4tens\u00e4 \u2013 etenkin korona-aikana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201dJ\u00e4tett\u00e4 tulee paljon ja se on tasalaatuista, joten se oli tutkimuksen kannalta mainio testattava\u201d, kertoo Ioncell-ryhm\u00e4n tutkija <strong>Marja Rissanen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201dLindstr\u00f6min puuvillapyyherulla voidaan pest\u00e4 ja k\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 uudelleen jopa 100 kertaa ja se tarjoaa elinkaarensa aikana noin 11 000 k\u00e4sienkuivausta. On ollut innostavaa olla mukana Finix-projektissa, jolla pyrimme l\u00f6yt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n rullille uusia k\u00e4ytt\u00f6mahdollisuuksia, kun ne tulevat k\u00e4ytt\u00f6ik\u00e4ns\u00e4 loppuun\u201d, kertoo <strong>Lyydia Pertovaara<\/strong>, Service Concept Designer Lindstr\u00f6milt\u00e4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ker\u00e4tyt pyyhkeet saivat ensin puuvillan polymeeriketjut pilkkovan happokylvyn. Sen j\u00e4lkeen diplomity\u00f6ns\u00e4 hankkeessa tehnyt <strong>Krishna Ojha<\/strong> liuotti materiaalin ioniseen nesteeseen ja kehr\u00e4si kuiduiksi tutkijatohtori <strong>Inge Schlapp-Hacklin<\/strong> ohjauksessa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ioncell-menetelm\u00e4ll\u00e4 on ennenkin syntynyt vahvoja kuituja, mutta nyt lujuus yll\u00e4tti tutkijat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201dTesteiss\u00e4 vetolujuus oli parempi kuin puuselluloosasta tehdyill\u00e4 kuiduilla ja jopa 2,5 kertainen neitseelliseen puuvillaan verrattuna. Materiaalin ominaisuudet vain paranivat kierr\u00e4tysprosessissa, mik\u00e4 oli positiivinen yll\u00e4tys. Verrattuna alkuper\u00e4iseen hamppuneulokseen, Ioncell-neulos oli paitsi vahvempaa my\u00f6s kiilt\u00e4v\u00e4mp\u00e4\u00e4 ja pehme\u00e4mp\u00e4\u00e4\u201d, Raiskio kertoo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kuitujen tasaisuuden ja vahvuuden ansiosta niist\u00e4 kehr\u00e4tty lanka oli my\u00f6s kolme kertaa alkuper\u00e4ist\u00e4 hamppulankaa vahvempaa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marja Rissanen testasi Metropolian laboratoriossa alkuper\u00e4isen hamppuneuloksen ja kierr\u00e4tyskuiduista tehdyn neuloksen kest\u00e4vyytt\u00e4 Martindale-hankauskokeella, jolla testataan esimerkiksi ulkoiluvaate- ja verhoilukankaiden kest\u00e4vyytt\u00e4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201dIoncellin hankauslujuus oli kaksinkertainen alkuper\u00e4iseen hamppuneulokseen verrattuna\u201d, Rissanen kertoo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hankauksenkesto ja vetolujuus parantavat tekstiilien kest\u00e4vyytt\u00e4. Hyv\u00e4 vetolujuus mahdollistaa my\u00f6s nopeammat valmistusprosessit teollisuudessa. Rissanen kuitenkin korostaa, ett\u00e4 Ioncellist\u00e4 on t\u00e4h\u00e4n asti tehty vain yksitt\u00e4isi\u00e4 n\u00e4ytekappaleita, eik\u00e4 kuidun kest\u00e4vyytt\u00e4 teollisissa prosesseissa ja arkik\u00e4yt\u00f6ss\u00e4 ole viel\u00e4 p\u00e4\u00e4sty testaamaan.
